BRIEF — Art in the Home is an annual selling exhibition presented by 20th Century furniture specialist Studio 2021 in association with Yorkshire ArtSpace. The aim of of the event is to showcase the work of Yorkshire ArtSpace artists in a more approachable context — a domestic ‘interior’ — and to promote Yorkshire ArtSpace‘s Open Studios weekend. Huckbody was commissioned to help elevate the Art in the Home experience by co-designing and co-building the exhibition ‘interior’ sets; as well as producing all editorial content for Art in the Home‘s website, social media channels (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) and printed marketing materials (postcards and posters). We also secured local press coverage in The Yorkshire Post and Our Favourite Places. The outcome was a month-long event across four different exhibition spaces — David Mellor Design, Hathersage; Kommune, Castle House, Sheffield; Persistence Works Gallery, Sheffield; and Nomad Atelier, Barnsley — which drew approximately 4000 visitors.
